The festival took over the theatre for the whole month of August, performing a rotation of eleven plays along with cabaret and improv one-offs. The schedule includes Gods & Heroes, a rock-and-roll musical written by East Dallas neighbor Paul Williams, as well as a version of Lord Of The Flies without dialogue and an examination of the late songwriter Daniel Johnston in Hi, How Are You? Tickets are $20 for every show. FIT runs for two more weeks, with programming blocks from August 15-18 and 22-24.
