What’s the best part about doing business in East Dallas?
Small business is on the rise. People like to promote and do business with each other directly or through referrals. The chamber has almost 300 members that are right in the middle of this network, and we serve to help them succeed.

Pigs get fat, and hogs get slaughtered.

What do you wish you’d known about running a business when you were a young professional?
Running any business is a contact sport, so network, network and network some more. To “get” is to first give, give, give and give. The “Law of Attraction” works both in business and in one’s personal life.
What’s the best way to spend money in East Dallas?
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 99.7 percent of all businesses are under 500 people, which is very typical of East Dallas. Buying in Lakewood and East Dallas strengthens the neighborhood and gives opportunities for future growth, plus encourages new businesses and startups.
