The drive-by food donation event will be benefiting Dallas Independent School District’s Peace Pantries in East Dallas. Food items and monetary donations will be collected.

Peace Pantries provide meals and healthy snacks for underserved students in the community.

The Dallas-based Live Local Group team has partnered with parents that represent Peace Pantries at each school. 100% of the donations will be benefiting Peace Pantries at Mockingbird Elementary, Geneva Heights Elementary, J.L. Long Middle School, Woodrow Wilson High School and Mount Auburn STEAM Academy.

Nancy Wilson, a member of the Live Local Group real estate team, helped open the first Peace Pantry at Woodrow Wilson High School.

“Students should not have to worry about where their next meal is coming from,” Wilson said in a statement. “The positive impact the Peace Pantries continue to make on these students’ lives is truly invaluable.”
