So you think the season of primaries, generals, run-offs and recounts is over?
Think again.
The next round of Dallas City Council elections will be May 1. The filing for candidates for council seats opened Jan. 13 and closes Feb. 12, according to the city secretary website.
Although neither incumbent has officially filed, in recent interviews David Blewett (District 14) and Paula Blackmon (District 9) shared their intention to seek re-election.
The Advocate will be on the lookout for these and any prospective opponent filings as the races shape up.
