While we’re enjoying gorgeous weather this week, we all know this is Dallas and things can turn on a dime. So was the case on June 13, 2012, when baseball-sized hail decimated everything in its path as its hurdled to the earth.
Hundreds of cars were totaled, probably thousands of windows were broken, but luckily no major injuries were reported on that volatile day of weather. We collected dozens of photos of the aftermath, but this week we found these videos (below) taken on that crazy day by Lakewood neighbors.
So as the summer storm season approaches, enjoy this look back at the power of Mother Nature.
