A new and improved Faulkner Tower wasn’t unveiled in November as developers had said, but construction is underway on the massive restoration project.
Construction workers are on site with cherry pickers replacing windows on the north side of the building.
Replacing the windows is just one step in a renovation project that owner Carl Anderson, co-founder of commercial real estate developer Larkspur Capital, started when he purchased the seven-story tower at 6220 Gaston Ave. in July.
Anderson also plans to construct a new lobby, resurface the parking lot and add landscaping.
When completed, the building will become office space. Compass Real Estate announced in September it plans to lease three of the seven floors.
