The popular White Rock-area road race, the DRC Half Marathon, happens Nov. 1. You can register to run or volunteer now. The festivities at last year’s race were overshadowed by a life-threatening car accident. One victim of that accident plans to return and run this year — her fan club will be manning the water station at mile 9.
