Directed by Mikaela Baker and starring Aren Hugo, the one-woman show traces a queer love story in which a magician must do what seems impossible to save her partner’s life. “OPEN” is about fighting intolerance and hate to save your chosen family, according to the online flyer. The flyer warns that there is violence in the storyline.
Tickets cost $15 to $40 each and are available for purchase online at the Echo Theatre Box Office. The production will remain open on select dates through Saturday, June 21, with matinees at 2 p.m. and evening shows at 7:30 p.m. at Bath House Cultural Center, located at 521 East Lawther Drive along White Rock Lake.
