Vicki Byrnes, an attorney with Maris & Lanier, P.C., recently was elected the first female president in the East Dallas Rotary club’s 62-year history. The club, which meets Tuesdays at noon at the Radisson Hotel on Central, has raised funds for lots of neighborhood non-profits, including the YMCA, Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, Central Dallas Ministries, Crossroads Community Services, and Shoes for Orphans Souls, according to club member Elwood Lindell.
