One of the candidates running for District 14 city council has dropped out of the race. Chad Lasseter of Hollywood Heights told the Observer he got a promotion, which means he doesn’t have time to run a campaign or serve on council.
That leaves the incumbent, Angela Hunt, who lives in the M Streets, and three opponents.
They are Lakewood Heights resident James Nowlin, Vernon Franko of Oak Lawn and Brian Oley, who lives near Love Field.
