Dude, Sweet Chocolate opened its third location on Lower Greenville near Trader Joe’s last Friday, and they’re hosting a grand opening party today from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Because really, what makes an opening more grand than “tons of chocolate”? Probably nothing, but serving up some mulled wine, hot chocolate for the munchkins, and music definitely doesn’t hurt.
Dude, Sweet Chocolate specializes in dark chocolate of every variety imaginable. With lovable names like “Crack in a Box” or “Chubby Nuts,” what could go wrong?
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can snag a sample of the Albatross Fudge, which includes blue cheese as its not-so-secret ingredient. And by adventurous, I mean it’s not adventurous at all because it’s delicious, but it sounds daring to people who haven’t tried it. Love it now, brag about it later.
Dude, Sweet also sells some impressive-sounding chocolate “potions,” like the One Night Stand Potion, which blends chocolate and tequila, or the Break-Up Potion, which starts with Breckenridge Distillery bourbon.
