Having to lug a bulky stroller or worrying about quelling the cries of an irritable baby are just a few of the headaches that tend to keep moms away from places like theaters and museums.
Well, gone are the days where moms had to just stick to kid-friendly places, like the play area at McDonalds. Local group Metro Moms organizes regular guided tours at the Dallas Museum of Art for moms and their babies. And because this is a private tour with nothing but moms, you don’t have to worry if you’re two-year-old has a total melt down while you’re looking at Monet.
The next scheduled tour is tomorrow at 11 a.m.. It’s $30, but that includes admission and lunch. If you’d like to sign up for the tour, you can do so online.
And if you’d like to catch an afternoon movie afterwards, you might be interested in the Angelika’s Crybaby Matinee. It’s everyday at 1:30 p.m., and like the name suggests, whaling infants are welcome. Just check the theater’s website for show times and details.
