Upcoming District 9 community meeting will cover a new sanitation pickup proposal

District 9 will have a community meeting regarding the movement of sanitation pickups from alleyways to curbsides on Thursday, Aug. 8 at Lochwood Branch Library and Monday, Aug. 12 at Ridgewood Belcher Recreation Center.

Both the Aug. 8 and Aug. 12 meetings will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

The meetings will cover a proposal for the movement of sanitation pickups by the Department of Sanitation Services staff. Councilwoman Paula Blackmon will be in attendance during both presentations. 

Residents are encouraged to provide feedback.
