The MLB, made up of members appointed by the Dallas City Council, is an advisory board that helps the Library Director stay informed about community needs. The board also serves as the bridge between the Library and the City Council.

“I am honored to serve as the incoming Chair of the Dallas Municipal Library Board, and thankful for my appointment to the position by Mayor Eric Johnson and my initial appointment to the board last year by City Council member Jesse Moreno,” Unmuth wrote in a social media post.
