Flea Style, located in Deep Ellum, is one of the publication’s recommended hat bars. At Flea Style, customers book a reservation with a stylist, who will guide them through choosing accessories and customizing a hat.

Brittany Cobb founded the company, then known as The Dallas Flea, in 2009. At the time, Cobb would have pop-up shopping events, welcoming different vendors. In 2015, she rebranded the business to Flea Style.

A brick-and-mortar store came three years later, in 2018, in a 5,000-square-foot building in Deep Ellum. The space houses a store, event studio and corporate headquarters.

It’s been nothing but growth since then. In 2019, Cobb opened a store in Frisco, adding a restaurant called Heirloom Haul, which serves tea, sandwiches, salads and more. She created another retail concept, Wide Brim, in the lobby of Fort Worth’s Hotel Drover in 2021. Later that year, another Flea Style and Heirloom Haul beverage bar opened in Fort Worth.

Last year marked Flea Style’s mall debut, with a storefront at Galleria Dallas.

Pajamas from Honey + Hank, founded by a Lake Highlands resident, and a spa day at Thompson Dallas also made the gift guide.

Flea Style is located at 3009 Commerce St. in Deep Ellum.
