A 21-year-old man died Saturday in Deep Ellum after being shot multiple times, authorities said.
Officers responded at 8:30 p.m. to a shooting at 2800 July Alley behind the Deep Ellum Hostel.
The victim, Alonte Demir Broadus-Hickem, was found lying in the alley with multiple gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported him to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
No suspect had been named, and no arrest had been made at the time of the report.
