The name on the back of the jersey says “Equality” with the No. 20 to represent the year.

“I swear the robot wasn’t wearing any clothes this morning,” says Daniel Rockey in a Facebook post.

“The Traveling Man” inspired a Dallas folktale in which a locomotive comes to life and turns into a robot,  Culture Trip reported.

The folktale created different characters from the three traveling man sculptures. The first is called “Awakening,” the second is “Waiting on a Train” and the third is “Walking Tall,” which is the sculpture wearing the Mavericks uniform, according to Culture Trip.

The NBA season resumes July 30 in Florida at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. No fans will attend because of the coronavirus pandemic, the NBA reported.
