Later this week a 40-foot long Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus will be at Mockingbird Station for DART’s annual “Stuff a Bus” campaign, during which employees will collect donations for “Santa Cops” and “Comforting of the Souls.”
For neighbors looking for an opportunity to give, DART employees will be collecting adult socks, blankets, canned food and unwrapped toys for children. The Northwest Bus Division’s “Comforting of the Souls” donates the new adult socks and blankets to area nursing homes, while toys and food help families in need through the DART police department’s “Santa Cops.”
Stuff a Bus will be held in the Mockingbird Station parking lot at 5465 E. Mockingbird Lane this Friday, Dec. 4, from 6 a.m.-5 p.m.
