Music is on the move this holiday season. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is hitting the road in a mobile venue called The Concert Truck to bring pop-up classical shows to communities across Dallas.
The truck will roll into our neighborhood at 9 a.m. Dec. 15 at Eduardo Mata Elementary School, 7420 La Vista Drive.
Concert pianists Susan Zhang and Nick Luby created The Concert Truck in 2016 after converting a 16-foot box truck into a fully functioning concert hall. It is complete with lights, a sound system and a piano.
The 45- to 60-minute performances will take place outdoors and will be free to attend.
