Neighbor Chris Heinbaugh has been announced as one of the two newest members of the Dallas Economic Development Corporation‘s Board of Directors.
The nonprofit organization was established to promote economic growth and vitality in Dallas.
Heinbaugh currently serves as the Chief Advocacy Officer at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, working with arts leaders to promote Dallas’ arts community.
During his time, he created a non-partisan advocacy strategy, garnering support from the City’s arts leaders to contribute towards economic development and corporate investment.
Through the 2024 Bond Program, he was able to secure $75.2 million for 15 City-owned cultural facilities.
“We are excited to announce the addition of two new members to our board who will bring valuable insights to our organization,” John Stephens, Chairman of the Board of the Dallas EDC said in a statement. “…Mr. Heinbaugh has extensive knowledge of Dallas’ arts and culture environment and the significance of the arts to economic development…”
