One person was injured Tuesday night when a pickup rear ended a Dallas Fire-Rescue engine, NBC affiliate Channel 5 reported.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. near Interstate 30 and East Grand Avenue.

Dallas Fire-Rescue Engine 3 was responding to another accident on I-30 when the pickup hit, according to the station. The pickup was damaged, and one person was injured. It is not clear if the injured person was the pickup truck driver or a firefighter.

Roads were wet at the time of the collision, and police said that may have played a role in the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
