The Dallas County Health Department recently began reporting COVID-19 cases by ZIP code, and while the numbers aren’t exact, they give us an idea of how many cases there are in our neighborhood.
There are somewhere between 60-101 cases of COVID-19 in five East Dallas ZIP codes — 75204, 75206, 75214, 75218 and 75223. That means we have somewhere between 5% and 8% of all cases in Dallas County, based on 1,155 cases reported April 6.
The two ZIP codes with the most cases are in South Dallas and Desoto, which both have 38-47.
