A Dallas Morning News computer model, which correctly selected the winner of 81 percent of high school football games last week, predicts that Bryan Adams will beat Woodrow Wilson this Friday.
Here’s the win expectancy percentage:
- Bryan Adams: 52 percent
- Woodrow Wilson: 48 percent
But here’s the thing: The formula, created by Michael Florek and the Southern Methodist University Department of Statistical Science, can’t calculate the players’ drive or the fans’ support.
The neighborhood showdown was one of the closest matchups the Morning News analyzed. Which team will emerge victorious is still anyone’s guess.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Forester Field.
