We had our first official "Code 58" sighting today in Old East Dallas. The new Fox series is set in Los Angeles, according to the Internet Movie Database, but is filmed in Dallas. A crew for the cop comedy that airs this summer was filming near Victor and Munger today. We also heard on the Twitter that that "Code 58" was filming in Deep Ellum today as well.
It looked like they were getting sweeping shots of the ‘hood, but we didn’t glimpse the show’s star, Colin Hanks, or any actors.
