Dallas City Hall

Dallas City Council districts 2, 9 and 14, which include East Dallas neighborhoods, will be on the ballot during the general election on May 3.

In Place 2, Sukhbir Kaur is challenging incumbent Council member Jesse Moreno. 

In Place 9, incumbent Council member Paula C. Blackmon is running to keep her seat against challengers Ernest P. Banda and write-in candidate Joseph W. Sarno. 

In Place 14, Council member Paul E. Ridley is unopposed. A challenger did file to run against him, but the candidate was deemed unqualified. 

The last day to register to vote is April 3. Early voting will take place April 22-29.
