Chirps Chicken opened in April at 3619 Greenville Ave. after LG Taps had to close because of the coronavirus. Chirps founder John Sanchez partnered with Dallas restaurateur Jason Caswell to bring the takeout-only eatery to life, CultureMap reported.

“I started Chirps a few months ago because the idea of doing pickup and delivery intrigued me,” Sanchez told CultureMap. “My background is in brand development and marketing. I had no experience in operating a restaurant. Jason has a lot of experience in that area. It gives me a place to operate, and it’s a good deal for the both of us.”

Chirps offers three-piece, five-piece and 12-piece chicken tender combos that come in three levels of spice: country, Nashville and fire. The menu also features chicken sandwiches, a cheeseburger and a variety of sides, including fries, Texas toast and mac & cheese.
