He’s partnering with This & That Concepts by Brandon Hays and Phil Schanbaum of High Fives, So & So’s, The Standard Pour and soon-to-open Whippersnapper to add a restaurant on Lower Greenville where Kirby’s Woodfire Grill was located before it closed in July.

The restaurant, which will serve dinner and brunch only, doesn’t have a name yet — only a concept. It will align with Dodd’s passion for using high-quality ingredients and be “the next level of Dodds’ commitment to local, seasonal, and Texas cuisine,” according to a press release. It “will bring a warm, inviting environment brimming with plant life and a mix of raw materials creating the perfect setting to complement the cuisine.”

They’re hoping to open by the end of this year. The location will have enough seating for 200-plus, including patio and bar.
