The annual St. Paddy’s Day Dash Down Greenville is Saturday, March 12 at 8:30 a.m. The Dash includes a 5k race that will begin at Central Market on Lovers and will trail through Greenville. Registration is $25, and $30 on race day, and it will benefit the North Texas Food Bank. The St. Paddy’s Day Parade will proceed after the race at 11 a.m., and several neighborhood restaurants will be on hand to serve food and beverages. Some of the festivities include:
The Granada Theater will host St. Paddy’s Day on the Patio. The event is no cover and $2 food specials on tacos, pizza, brisket sliders and hot dogs. Enjoy the sounds of Reggae music from 12:30-5:30 p.m.
Editor Rachel Stone mentioned that they’re rebuilding, but Terelli’s will be at the event Saturday, working their own tent.
WoodFire Kirby’s will open at 11 a.m. for the parade. Specials include: $3 beers, $1 off draughts, $2 off all call drinks and 50 percent off all beverages from 4-7 p.m. The restaurant will also have a full menu available.
