The tree, located this year right next to El Fenix, looks pretty sad out there today amid all the dust, dirt, bulldozers and rubble at Casa Linda Plaza, but it’s nothing a crowd of Christmas carol-jazzed locals can’t fix. Nonetheless, we’ll need FULL neighborhood participation in order to pull this one off. So far, things are looking good. Santa will be on site, providing plenty of photo opportunities for a mere $5 a pop, and you can plainly see from the following schedule of events — provided by For The Love of the Lake, the worthy organization that will benefit from said $5 contribution — that it promises to be a night chock full of spirited song and entertainment.
