Between Jan. 1 to April 1, Abtahi took in $75,830 in contributions from 189 donors, which the DMN says is more than double what attorney Philip Kingston — another strong candidate for the seat — brought in. Kingston raised $36, 526 from 78 donors.

Kevin Curley, raised $25,645 from 46 contributors and spent about $15,000. His campaign has also relied on $28,000 in personal loans.

Jim Rogers has raised $17,290 and spent $8,134. According to the DMN, he noted that he is working the campaign on an entirely volunteer basis.
