What started eight years ago as a simple fundraiser to help get 30 girls to Hawaii for a big competition has grown into a much-anticipated, yearly White Rock event.
This year, the Bishop Lynch Brigade Drill Team is gearing up for its 8th annual Spring Market, where more than 50 artisans will offer a hodgepodge of handcrafted wares: jewelry fashions, wooden indoor/outdoor items, hair accessories, home furnishings, scarves, stamping supplies, on-site monogramming, candles, kitchen wares, children’s items, religious articles, gourmet foods, and the list goes on and on.
The event will be on April 26 (two weeks before Mother’s Day) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No entrance fee.
Also, the Brigade will be performing “Blank Canvas” in McGonigle Theatre from 2-4 p.m., and raffle drawings will take place throughout the day. Winners must be present to claim their prize.
