Henderson Avenue just got even more fashionable.

Billy Reid used to design for brands such as Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and for his previous label William Reid before moving to Alabama, according to the retailer’s website. That’s where the Billy Reid brand was founded more than 20 years ago. The Billy Reid footprint expanded from there, including to Dallas. Reid credited Dallas for being where the store’s retail journey began, according to a 2020 CultureMap article about Reid opening a shop in NorthPark Center.

“We’ve been in the Dallas market for 21 years and have moved our shop a couple of times for various reasons,” Reid said in a MR Magazine article from May 13, 2025. “Our opening on Knox/Henderson gives us the space to showcase a more realized offering, combining our custom clothing efforts and main collection under one roof. We are super excited to be there!”

But Billy Reid isn’t just popular in Dallas. The brand has won four Council of Fashion Designers of America awards, Billy Reid’s Bond Peacoat was worn by Daniel Craig in Skyfall, and the designer has been asked to dress Broadway stars for the Tony Awards.

According to the retailer’s website, the Billy Reid boutique on Henderson is currently the only store in North Texas. In general, the brand sells clothes for men and women as well as custom suiting.Â
