If you have a need for beads, don’t go to Lakewood Shopping Center to visit Diana Thatcher at Beads of Splendor, because you’ll only find that she is no longer there.
After 13 years as a tenant in Lakewood Shopping Center, Thatcher has boxed up her beads, clasps and wires and moved them to 9047 Garland (the shopping center with Hypnotic Donuts).
The displays are out in the new location, and Thatcher has officially opened for business.
She plans to host a grand opening on Nov. 15 in conjunction with her annual Southwest Turquoise Trunk Show.
Thatcher lives in Casa Linda, so the new location is just a few miles from her house.
“We’re excited to be in the center,” she says.
