A public meeting, regarding the Beacon Street/Graham Avenue Connections Project ,will be happening today at the Samuell-Grand Recreation Center, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The project will be focusing on the parallel one-way streets: S. Beacon Street and Graham Avenue, between Columbia Avenue/Abrams Road and Samuell Boulevard/E. Grand Avenue.
The project aims to improve connections from the Santa Fe Trail to the Grand Avenue shops, Samuell-Grand Park and the Trinity Forest Spine Trail. Additionally, the project is intended to aid in increasing traffic safety and slowing down the speeds of vehicles using the corridor.
Residents are encouraged to provide input on possible alternative roadway configurations.
