If your dog is as uncultured as mine, you might want to head to a special Bark in the Park tonight or tomorrow during two Shakespeare in the Park performances of Richard III.
Bark in the Park, a special presentation of Nights at the Park, is hosted by Shakespeare Dallas and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals today and July 2. Fans of the Bard may bring their well-behaved, leashed pups and enjoy a night under the stars. If you’re a fan of the theater and don’t yet have a pet, the Dallas SPCA will be at the park on July 2 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. with adoptable animals looking for their forever home.
Admission to Bark in the Park is $15 and tickets are available at the gate or in advance online. The performance begins at 8:15 p.m. at the Samuell Grand Amphitheater.
Nights at the Park is a collaboration between Shakespeare Dallas and other area non-profits or community groups.
