Yesterday afternoon an armed robber hit the Compass Bank at 1824 Abrams at LaVista (right near the Advocate offices, that is). The black male, who police say appears to be about 30 years old and 200 pounds, brandished a Blue Steel revolver and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. You know anything? See anything?
