Plants and flowers need rain in order to stay gorgeous, but nobody wants to tour an outdoor garden when it’s coming down. Now you don’t have to let an overcast day keep you from visiting the Dallas Arboretum. If it starts raining, you’re guaranteed free admission and parking on the next dry day of your choice (within three months of the original ticket purchase), thanks to the newly implemented ‘Rainy Day Plan’.

If you feel a drop of rain, simply stop by the ticket booth on your way out and present your receipt to pick up your complimentary pass. The Rainy Day pass is valid with a fully paid admission and not to be combined with any other offers, and not including holidays when the park is closed.

You won’t find this type of offer at many places around here, according to Arboretum President Mary Brinegar. "We are one of the few venues who give a ‘return free of charge’ guarantee for the erratic nature of weather."
