Walmart Neighborhood Market on Lower Greenville opens with a ceremony bright and early at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17. You can read more about the opening and related issues here.
Press got to preview the store Tuesday afternoon. It includes a pharmacy, headed by pharmacy manager Cherell Dancy, a bakery, produce, a self-service deli, money services like money orders and grams, and more.
“We’re looking forward to helping rejuvenate the area and being a part of the resurrection of Lower Greenville,” store manager Marvin Manns says, noting the senior citizens living nearby who he hopes will find shopping easier and more accessible.
