For months, the Chipotle at Abrams and Richmond and been boarded up, keeping nosey neighbors like myself from peeking inside. Once the boards started coming off, I’ve been breaking my neck every time I drive by in a vain attempt to get a good look, so finally I decided to just pull over and snoop around.

The media folks from Chipotle reached out to let us know the planned opening for the Lakewood location is Dec. 7. So we might have burritos as early as this weekend.

They also announced that, in addition to burritos, bowls, tacos and salads, the Lakewood location also offer catering services. Call 1-800-Chipotle to order. Customers who order catering for 20 or more people between now and Dec. 31 will be rewarded with two free burritos to enjoy.
