It’s almost time for the Polyphonic Spree’s holiday extravaganza — and it’s going to be a fantastic one for little ones (under 4 is free!) and us old Trippin’ Daisy fans alike.
While we’re waiting for the big show, add the Spree’s holiday single, “It’s Christmas” to your Christmas song playlist (give that “All I Want for Christmas is You” stuff a rest). “It’s Christmas” is also available in limited edition vinyl.

Time: Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m.
Location: Lakewood Theater, 1825 Abrams Rd.
Tickets: $25 General Admission (under 4, free); you can get tix at the door or at Good Records on Lower Greenville.
The holiday extravaganza, now in its 9th year, is a family friendly event for all ages, featuring photos with Santa, live reindeer, costumed characters, snow and of course, music and more music! Here is a list of performances:

7-7:30 p.m. Dallas Zoo Animal Adventures Program
7:30-8 p.m. We’re Not Dudes
8-9 p.m. The Polyphonic Spree Xmas Set
9:15-9:45 p.m. Syncopated Ladies
10-Midnite The Polyphonic Spree Rock Set (rarities, obscurities and your favorite songs)
Photos with Santa, live reindeer, costumed characters, snow, and joy for all.
