Need a little push to get you into the holiday spirit? This concert will be more like a big shove — the beautiful music (see/ listen after the jump) coupled with the talented musicians’ great generosity will leave even the biggest baddest Scrooge teary eyed and wanting to hug his mommy.

Resounding Harmony, the 200-member chorus will perform at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. Chorus director Dr. Timothy Seelig says the vocally gifted group is totally engaged in giving back to the community through their music. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the North Texas Food Bank. Last year at a concert at SMU’s Caruth Auditorium, Resounding Harmony raised enough for 65,000 meals. In the larger venue, they hope to double that. For more information, visit

*BONUS* I have a Resounding Harmony CD here at my desk that I am willing to send to the first person who e-mails me at chughes@advocate
