Currently, it’s not much more than a sign, but soon Turquoise and Lavender will open as a specialty boutique featuring aromatherapy and candles, jewelery and decor items that were collected from around the world by owner Eddie Bicker.
Bicker, who didn’t immediately return a call for comment, says on his website “Visiting a new place is so invigorating, everything is brand new, and often I want to bring that home with me and share it with everyone.”
Bicker grew up in Kentucky before moving to Dallas. He says online that the store opened in March, although as of today it is not yet open for business at 1924 Abrams. The location previously housed Unleashed by Petco, which vacated the space in January citing poor visibility in the Lakewood Shopping Center. According to its Facebook page, Turquoise and Lavender will open at the end of July.
