Lakewood Home Tour is going to be fabulous this year — really, anything that kicks off with a Caddyshack-themed event just oozes greatness. But organizers say they need more help — about 300 more volunteers — to properly pull the thing off. Home tour (Nov. 14+15) volunteer shifts are about two to two-and-a-half hours long and they also need people to volunteer during the aforementioned kick-off party (Nov. 13). If you volunteer, know you’re serving your community schools. Last year, for instance, the tour netted an incredible $75,000 for Lakewood Elementary and $25,000 each for J.L. Long and Woodrow.
