Following an accident that left two J.L. Long students badly injured, the City of Dallas Department of Transportation has approved the placement of safety posts at crosswalks along the Santa Fe Trail. Neighborhood resident Bette Canelakes says that the city quickly responded to requests for safety posts from her and the parents of both of the injured girls.
