Cyclist Jonathan Roach jumps the curb where the smooth pavement of the Santa Fe Trail ends in dirt, rocks and debris at Hill Avenue. The Public Works Department is finalizing the design for a connection to take the trail past Hill to the DART Green Line station in Deep Ellum. Construction is expected to start soon and could be completed by the end of the year.
