The Dallas ISD school was selected as one of only 24 schools nationally to win the gift after participating in Crayola Creativity Week in January.
Lipscomb received $3,000 in Crayola-provided Walmart gift cards to purchase furniture and decor for the makeover. Walmart pitched in with $1,000 in gift cards for teachers to use to purchase additional items for the lounge, and Crayola gifted the school $1,000 worth of art supplies.
