The festival will show two Shakespearean plays for six week concurrently this summer: The Importance of Being Earnest (June 13 – July 18) and Othello (June 20 – July 20). Patrons can feel free to bring picnics, as well as beer and wine if they are 21 or older, to watch the performance. They are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as all seating is on the lawn. However, pets are not allowed in the ampitheater.

Ticket options include subscription packages, membership packages and single tickets. Single tickets start at $20 each. During the summer, performances begin at 8:30 p.m. after gates open at 7 p.m. for subscribers, 7:15 p.m. for groups and advance sales, and 7:45 p.m. for general admission. Performances last approximately two hours and 30 minutes, according to the Shakespeare Dallas website.

Samuell-Grand Ampitheatre is located at 1500 Tenison Parkway.
