The City of Dallas announced it will be postponing its launch event for the 2023 Equity Indicators Report.
In a Jan. 7 press release, the city cited the winter weather advisory as the reason for the delay. The city has not yet shared the new date for the event.
The launch was originally scheduled for Jan. 9 at Paul Quinn College to share the updated Equity Indicators Report with the community. The report was a collaboration between the City’s Office of Equity and Inclusion and Every Texan, a nonprofit organization with a focus on public policy.
According to a social media post shared by Dallas City Hall, the Equity Indicators report was a data-driven tool designed to help local leaders address disparities within the community.
More information on the report will be available at the 6th Annual Equity Indicators Symposium, which will be held on Jan. 17. To RSVP, visit https://dal.city/2025EquityIndicatorsSymposium.
