This Friday, Oct. 4, the White Rock Alehouse & Brewery is hosting a This Event Fights Cancer Party from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The event is dedicated to Dave Kirk, who was the co-owner of the White Rock Alehouse and Brewery and a board member for the White Rock YMCA. Kirk passed away from cancer in March of this year.

The party will feature giveaways, food and beer specials, hourly prizes and live music. Money raised at the event will go to supporting Livestrong programs like the training program for cancer patients at White Rock YMCA. 

The event is now accepting donations towards the Livestrong programs.
