Dallas ISD will continue to require students, faculty and staff to wear masks.

The district’s rule remains after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott lifted the statewide mask mandate and said businesses could open at 100% capacity beginning March 10.

“We will follow CDC guidelines as these discussions continue internally,” said DISD News & Information officer Nina Lakhiani.

The district does not foresee any changes before the end of the school year, but administration officials are continuing discussions.
